The owners of this suburban gambrel have lived here for many years. Having raised their family they wanted to know if an attached garage and a master bedroom could be added to the first floor. After several studies it was determined that razing the building and starting over was the best strategy. The new home continues the gambrel tradition with a 2 car garage and motor court in front, the living areas of the house in the middle of the property and the master bedroom wing off the back. A large open kitchen connects the dining room with the family room and French doors and trellis's help bring the garden into the house. Upstairs there are bedrooms and play areas for visiting family members and a home office.
