This small, simple house was not much more than a 1 ½ story box on a slightly sloping site. The new owners had a bungalow style cottage in mind for the renovation of the cottage. We gutted the entire house and installed new plumbing, electrical and heating systems. We added another bedroom on the second floor and removed many of the first floor walls. On the exterior we resided the building, added a large walk out deck on the back of the house and a bungalow style entry with tapered columns and ornamental board railings on both porches. Decorative brackets on the roof overhangs and large, cottage style windows give the building a simple craftsman look while providing lots of light to the interior spaces.
